Wisdom

I think I should find an empty book and  fill it with the wisdom of the past generations. Many people would call that wise. Wisdom is a tricky thing though, because I could say "it would be a wise decision to read a wise mans writings... I must be wise for making that wise decision".  But the Good Book says, "Professing to be wise, they became fools." That's Romans 1:22. However, in order to make a wise decision, you must have some wisdom. So after making a wise decision, does that not make you wise? After making a wise decision, it is hard not to think that you are wise, because it takes wisdom to make a wise decision. So, if I make a wise decision, and if I think it wise, I am unwise. Or something like that...

How does that work?

its one of those black and white but gray things i think. in my oppinion, you must make many wise decisions to be wise. but then the wise thing to do is to not declare that you're wise, because you may also make unwise decisions. i think its kinda like boasting to "profess to be wise..." because its only after you put yourself on a pedestal that you can fall. do i make any sense at all? probably not.
